Week of March 13th, 2014
This weeks awesome drawing comes from the sketchbook of Luke. Luke is a 6th grader who loves to study about famous artwork and make drawings in his free time. This drawing comes from a 10 minute drawing exercise that we have at the beginning of every class. You may recognize this portrait of the famous street artist and painter Jean Micheal Basquiat. We are currently working on facial proportions and value while we explore self portraits and what portraits mean to working artists and artists of the past.
